PROGRAMME OF EVENTS 2025

All dates refer to the 3rd Tuesday in the month, unless otherwise stated

 

  JANUARY 20th:          RESOLUTIONS - we discuss the selected resolutions for this year

                                 and vote individually for the one we prefer to go forward to the

                                 NFWI Annual Meeting.

                                 There will also be a social activity.

 

  FEBRUARY 18th:       'Tai Chi' with Dr Luke Zhang

                                 Experience the slow, gentle movement of this exercise.

 

  MARCH 17th:            'Wild About Britain' - Connie Smith

                                 See some of our endangered small animals up close.

                          

  APRIL 21st:             'You are what you Eat' - Helen Halliday

                                 Is what you eat impacting your health and wellbeing?

                                 We will also have our annual plant sale.

                                   

  MAY 19th:                 Raw Honey Gin - Sam Robinson

                                 A talk and tasting....with a chance to purchase

 

  JUNE 16th:              Heroes and Villians for the Basingstoke Canal

                                 with Roger Cansdale

 

  JULY 7th:              'Naughthy but Nice' - Kate McBain                

                                Discover what Kate brings along!

 

  AUGUST:                 THERE IS NO MEETING IN AUGUST AS THE HALL IS CLOSED. 

                                INSTEAD WE WILL GO ON AN OUTING 

                                This year we will be going on a Wine Tasting Tour.

 

  SEPTEMBER 15th:    The 'Real' Prime Suspect - Jackie Malton 

                                Her life as a detective and her involvement in the TV programme.

 

  OCTOBER 20th:       Decluttering with Victoria Fearnley

                                 Helpful hints on having that big sort out - what stays and what goes.

 

  NOVEMBER 17th:     This month we hold our ANNUAL MEETING, 

                                we vote in our new committee.

 

  DECEMBER 15th:      This meeting is a Mystery!

  

    In addition to the above monthly meetings we also have, at least, one extra event during 

    the month together with our various monthly small group clubs.

 

   Extra events might be a visit to a local attraction, a theatre trip, a sporting activity or a lunch.
